I’ve got a couple of new releases of iKnowPeople available on the iTunes store. The big news is iKnowPeople Lite, which is a “freemium” version of the application. The iKP Lite app offers all the functionality of the full version, with the caveat that only 50 records (People, Organizations, Meetings, etc.) can be created during the trial period. This restriction can be removed at any time with an in-app purchase, after which the Lite version is for all intents and purposes identical to the full version.
New Features
Databases created by the Lite version can also be imported into the full version (and vice versa), which brings us to the second bit of iKnowPeople news: There’s a new 2.1.1 mainline release, which offers these additional features:
- Database backup through iTunes File Sharing
- Multitasking support
- Retina display support
(There are also the usual minor tweaks and fixes.)
